Our sweet friends, the Persicks, the Reeds and the Burns' threw us a going away party/baby shower this past weekend. We had such a good time! The girls decided that since I am on my fourth baby shower, that Wags needed to open the gifts and have everyone look at him for once. We then added that he had to explain to everyone what it was he was opening....this was hilarious. My favorite was a football rattle with a little handle on it...that, in his words was a "neck pillow for the airplane AND a toy football!" It was by far the funniest baby shower yet.....he made this very awkward experience VERY entertaining. We are so grateful for great friends and family. We are going to miss everyone so much and we are very anxious to get back to Texas already. We made sure to stop by the local Cavenders and Atwoods to stock up on pearl snap shirts and cowboy hats for all 3 of us before we left. Wags is driving to New York (for the 2nd time in 2 months, God love him), so keep him in your prayers b/c he likes to knock this trip out driving non stop for 26 hours. I will go to Wichita to spend some QT with the rents before I fly out to meet him in Pensacola and then on to NY. We will meet our "potential" doctor July 7th...I'll keep you posted.
