Surprise Birthday Weekend!

My sweet, sweet husband surprised me with a weekend at the Waldorf Astoria in NYC. We had so much fun seeing the city as more of a "local." Friday, we met one of our friends for dinner at a very swanky French restaurant, totally not our style, but a fun experience. Saturday, we got up to walk around the city early, and came back to get ready for our Broadway show, Wicked. Such a fun, fun show...even Michael enjoyed it! We went to dinner afterwards at a Japanese Steakhouse, walked around a little more and hit up Crumbs Bakery for a cupcake and iced coffee. We headed back pretty early Saturday night to watch movies in the room so we could get up early Sunday and maximize our time. Michael had a great idea to bring our bikes with us and bike around Central Park. So, we biked down Park Ave over to Central Park for breakfast at the Boathouse. Aaah, such a fun, relaxing, fancy weekend! Probably the best birthday I've had. Now, I think I'm going to stay put for a bit and, I don' t know, get ready for this little baby to arrive!!
