Navy-SMU

We survived our first road trip, tailgate/football game. This little guy is such a trooper! We left NY early Saturday morning to start our 4 hour journey to Maryland. Let's just say, things started a little on the rough side. I had been up since 3, WIDE awake like I didn't need the sleep or something! Go figure. We had Michael's pick-up ALL loaded (we had to have a tailgate to "tailgate" at the game), only to realize, all of our gear wouldn't fit :) Welcome to Parenthood. So my very patient, flexible husband unloaded and loaded everything into the Tahoe...and we're off! We found our spot to tailgate and the pick-up would of been so perfect, however we put Graham's Nap Nanny in the back of the Tahoe with the door open and this way, he was completely blocked from the wind/sun...so all in all, it was better we took the Tahoe. The weather was perfect, the game was great and the little guy had a blast (well, as far as I can tell he did).
So, after the game, we headed to Cantlers for some much needed Maryland crabs! Then, off to Sue and Gary's (Michaels sponsor parents from Academy...aka our East Coast Parents) to stay the night. Graham was so excited to meet his East Coast Grandma. Before heading out we went to walk down memory lane over at the Academy. I love that place. Probably the most beautiful place I have ever been. Not only is is full of wonderful and not so wonderful memories for Wags it now holds such a special place in my heart. The picture at the top of us is at Bancroft Hall where Michael proposed at the top of the stairs almost 4 years ago :) So, we took another picture with our new little family (below). What a surreal moment and oh how things have changed since that picture....all for the better of course!
